Sync

The Sync Wizard will identify new customers, vendors, and related transactions that can be exported to QuickBooks Online (QBO). It will eliminate all the guess work and provide accounting staff complete control of what companies and transactions can be exported.

1. Go to Accounting Link and select Sync under the Sync tab.

2. The following pages show unsynced transactions in order:

   • Export Sage CM Project | Prime to QuickBooks Online Customer:Sub Customer: Export Sage Construction Management customers referenced in prime contracts that are marked approved with a status date.

     In addition, the project and prime contract number will become the sub-customer in QBO.

     Make sure to select only the projects or prime contracts that must be posted to QBO. Transactions associated with any project or prime contract that's not selected will not be posted to QBO.

     Alternatively, you can export a project prime contract to QBO using the Actions > Export to QuickBooks Online option on the prime contract's page.

   • Export Sage CM Project Directory Companies to QuickBooks Online: Export Sage Construction Management vendors referenced on bills and sub invoices.

     The AccountingLink utility will check the vendor name to prevent duplicates in QBO.

   • Export Sage CM Bills | Sub invoices to QuickBooks Online Bills, Credit Card or Check: Export Sage Construction Management bills and sub invoices.

     This list will show only approved transactions that have prime contracts linked to a customer:sub customer record in QBO.

   • Export Sage CM Employees Misc. Expenses to QuickBooks Online Credit Card or Check: Export Sage Construction Management employee miscellaneous expenses.

     Similar to bills and sub invoices, this list will show only approved transactions that have prime contracts linked to a customer:sub customer record in QBO.

     If the payee is a company, then the vendor will be exported/linked dynamically in QBO.

   • Export Sage CM Prime Invoices to QuickBooks Online Invoice: Export Sage Construction Management prime invoices.

     Similar to the expense transactions, this list will show only approved invoices that have prime contracts linked to a customer:sub customer record in QBO.

   • Export Sage CM Employees to QuickBooks Online Employees: Export Sage Construction Management employees that have approved labor timecards.

     The wizard will check the employee name to prevent duplicates in QBO.

   • Export Sage CM Labor Timecards to QuickBooks Online Time Activity: Export Sage Construction Management approved timecards including the hours and base cost rate.

     Similar to the expense and income transactions, this list will show only approved labor timecards that have prime contracts linked to a customer:job record in QBO.

   Pages without unsynced records for a transaction type are skipped automatically.
3. Select one or more records from the list and select Post Selected.
