View transaction discrepancies
Important things to know
- POs, Subcontracts, Bills, and Sub Invoices are typically locked in Sage Construction Management after being posted to Sage 100 Contractor. However, these transactions can still be modified in Sage 100 Contractor which could potentially cause a discrepancy. To maintain consistency between the two systems, Sage Construction Management provides global and transaction specific discrepancy tools AP tab. These discrepancy tools analyze posted transactions and at the end of the process, a list of transactions where totals don't match is provided. You can rectify this discrepancy as needed, as the AccountingLink does not identify which value, i.e., Sage Construction Management Total, or Sage 100 Contractor Total, is correct.
- Posted POs, Subcontracts, Bills, and Sub Invoices with discrepancies can be permanently removed from the list.
View discrepancies
- Go to Accounting Link and select the Accounts Payable (AP) tab.

Select one of the following options depending on the type of the transaction that you want to unlink:
- View POs - Discrepancies
- View Subcontracts - Discrepancies
- View Bills - Discrepancies
- View Sub Invoices - Discrepancies
The discrepancies page displays the following information:

Issue Date: The date that the PO was issued.

Invoice #: The number of the invoice.

Subject: The transaction description.

Vendor: The vendor's name.
Sage CM Amount: The Sage CM transaction amount.

Sage Amount: The Sage 100 Contractor transaction amount.
- Specify the From Date and To Date, if needed.
- Optional: To remove a transaction from the list permanently, select it from the list and select Remove From List Permanently.
- Optional: To export all transactions with discrepancies to an Excel file, select Export To Excel.
