AutoLink customers, vendors, or employees
If customers, vendors, or employees have been entered manually in both systems, they can be automatically linked if the names match exactly.
About linking customers, vendors, or employees automatically

Auto Linking does not synchronize or update address or phone details. It only links customer, vendor, and employee records between the two systems.
Link customers automatically
- Go to Accounting Link and select the Contact Management tab.
- Select AutoLink Customers in the AutoLink Based On Exact Name Match section.
- In the dialog, select OK to link customers automatically.
Link vendors automatically
- Go to Accounting Link and select the Contact Management tab.
- Select AutoLink Vendors in the AutoLink Based On Exact Name Match section.
- In the dialog, select OK to link vendors automatically.
Link employees automatically
Auto linking updates the employee ID in Sage Construction Management, but address or phone information will not be synchronized or updated.
- Go to Accounting Link and select the Contact Management tab.
- Select AutoLink Employees in the AutoLink Based On Exact Name Match section.
- In the dialog, select OK to link employees automatically.
This process might take some time depending on the number of records in both systems.
