Unlink a prime contract

Posted Projects | Primes can be unlinked. This may be applicable if a Sage Construction Management Project | Prime Contract was manually linked to the wrong (Undefined variable: ProductNames.Sage300 Construction and Real Estate) Customer | Sub Customer.

  1. Select Accounting Link > Projects, Estimates & Contracts.
  2. Click one of the following options in the Prime Contract Status or in the Prime Contract Item Status section.
    • View Prime Contract - Posted
    • View Prime Contract - Partially Posted
    • View Prime Contract - Posting Failed
    • View Prime Contract - Linked
  3. Select the checkbox next to the prime contract to be unlinked.
  4. Click Unlink Selected Prime Contract.
If you are switching accounting systems and neglect to unlink active jobs before uninstalling the AccountingLink, you can alternatively use the Unlink Transaction option under the Accounting Status section of the Prime Contract to unlink the contract even after the accounting system has changed.
