Time Sheet tab
You can integrate labor timecards with Sage Intacct. Sage Construction Management includes options for selecting the right data source for the project’s timesheet fields.
Select the required time types for Sage Intacct, such as overtime, double time, etc. using the Payroll Item Linking Preferences, or select to use the ones set from the Labor Resource Mapping section in General Preferences.
You can also specify all Sage Construction Management labor codes from the Labor Code Linking Preferences.
First, select the appropriate data source from the Post or Import Timecards dropdown.
Do Not Post or Import Timecards
Select Do Not Post or Import Timecards in case you don't need to post or import timecards.
Post Sage Sage Construction Management Timecards to Sage Intacct

Select Post Sage CM Timecards to SIC to select Sage Construction Management as the data source.

Select the first day of the week from the First Day of Week dropdown, or set the first day of the week to be the same as the one used in Sage Intacct.
To ensure timesheets are created successfully, the first day of the week must be consistent between Sage Construction Management and Sage Intacct. First, set the desired first day of the week in Sage Construction Management. Then, configure the same day as the first day of the week in Sage Intacct at the Company level. At the Entity level, ensure the first day of the week is set to null to inherit the value from the Company level. Failing to align these settings will result in errors when creating timesheets.-
Select the desired day from the First Day of Week dropdown and select Save.

Go to Sage Intacct and select Top level > Applications > Company > Set up.

In the Configuration section, select Company.

Select the Accounting tab and select Edit.

Set the value of the Week begins on dropdown to the required day, e.g., Monday and select Save.

Go to Top level > Company > Entities.

In the Calendar section, set the value of the Week begins on dropdown to null and select Save.

In Sage Construction Management, set the Cost Type. You have the following options:
- Select Use Labor Resource Mapping in General Preferences.

Select Specify in Payroll Item Linking section. If you select this option, click Payroll Item Linking Preferences below and set the required cost types.

Set the Labor Class. You have the following options:
- Select Do not display.
Select Specify in Labor Code Linking section and set the required labor classes in the Labor Code Linking Preferences below.

Set the Labor Shift. You have the following options:
- Select Do not display.

Select Specify in Labor Code Linking section and set the required labor shifts in the Labor Code Linking Preferences below.

Select the Labor Union. You have the following options:
- Do not display.

Specify in Labor Code Linking sectionand set the required labor unions in the Labor Code Linking Preferences below.

Select the Employee Position. You have the following options:
- Do not display.

Specify in Labor Code Linking sectionand set the required employee positions in the Labor Code Linking Preferences below.

Select the status of the Post Timecards:
- Draft.

Submitted.
- Timecard Comments: Select the comment fields that should display:

Labor code linking preferencesYou can set the labor code linking preferences in Sage Intacct.
If you previously selected to Specify in Labor Code Linking section, you must click Labor Code Linking Preferences to set the linking for the required labor codes.
For each Sage CM Labor Code and Description, select the corresponding SIC Labor Class ID, the SIC Labor Shift ID, the SIC Labor Union ID, and the SIC Employee Position ID from the dropdown lists. You can use the search field to search for specific labor codes and sort the results display by clicking o n the column headings.

You can set the payroll item’s linking preferences in Sage Intacct for the time types, e.g., overtime, double time, holiday pay, etc.
If you previously selected to Specify in Payroll Item Linking section, you must click Payroll Item Linking Preferences to set the required cost types.
For each Sage CM Payroll Item Code and Description, select the corresponding SIC Time Type from the dropdown lists.
Retrieve SIC Project Timesheets

Select Retrieve SIC Project Timesheets to select Sage Intacct as the data source.
If you select Retrieve SC Project Timesheets, the option to enter new labor timecards directly in Sage Construction Management will not be available and you will not have the ability to add new timecards in Sage Construction Management. Instead, you will only be able to import timecards from Sage Intacct. -

For each SIC Time Type, you can select to map the corresponding time type in Sage Construction Managementsuch as:

HOL: Holiday Pay

SICK: Sick Pay

VAC: Vacation

You can view all missing required fields at a glance as Sage Construction Management gathers in a popup all required fields that haven't been set.

Select Missing Required Fields.

Select the link on the left of a required field and set it as needed.
