Delete a master cost code structure

In Sage Construction Management, you can delete a master cost code structure even if it's used to classify companies or cost database items.

However, before deleting a master cost code list (standard cost code catalogue), ensure it is not used:

• As a dimension in cost database items.

• As a company dimension in the Contact Management module.

Deleting a master cost code list does not impact or remove cost codes already used in projects, prime contracts, or estimating.

1. Log in to Sage Construction Management as an Administrator.
2. Go to Settings () > Company Settings > Cost Codes.
3. Select the delete icon () next to the label of the appropriate classification system.
4. In the dialog, select OK to confirm your action.
5. Enter DELETE in the available field to confirm.
6. Select Delete.
