Company types
Companies can be categorized using the company types classification system. This is especially useful when adding firms to an invitation to bid (ITB) list or a request for pricing (RFP) package.
Company types examples
- Customer
- Supplier
- Supplier – Windows
- Supplier – Doors
- Subcontractor – Concrete
- Subcontractor – Electrical
- Subcontractor – Mechanical
View and add company types

Log in to Sage Construction Management as an Administrator.
- Go to Settings (
) > Feature Settings > Contact Management..
- In the Company Types section, select Add to add a company type option.
- Enter the company type description in the available field at the bottom of the list.
- Select Save.
You cannot delete a company type if it is referenced in a company record.
