RFI reason options
One of the required fields when entering a Request for Information (RFI) is the reason. The default options are listed below. You can add or delete options if they are not referenced in an RFI.
Similar to RFI types, you can use the reason to group and filter the RFI list. You can also use it when printing log reports.
Default RFI reason options
- Information not shown on the Contract Documents
- Interpretation of Contract Requirements
- Conflict in Contract Requirements
- Coordination Problem
- General Question
View and add RFI reason options
- Log in to Sage Construction Management as an Administrator.
- Go to Settings (
) > Feature Settings > Correspondence.The available RFI reasons are listed under the RFI Reason section.
- To add a new RFI reason, select Add, enter the RFI reason in the field, and select Save.
You cannot delete an RFI reason if it is referenced on a project record.
