Locations for Custom Equipment and Labor Rates

A Location reference can be specified on the Estimate Properties page, which will impact how Equipment and Labor Items are added to the estimate. For example, if a Location such as LA is specified then Labor and Equipment Items with LA base and burden rates will be used otherwise the default rate is added.

Location Examples

• LA: Los Angeles, CA
• SF: San Francisco, CA
• NY: New York, NY

View And Add Locations

1. Log in to Sage Construction Management as an Admin.
2. Click Settings (Gear Icon).
3. Click Feature Settings | Cost DB and Equipment.
4. Navigate to the Locations for Custom Equipment and Labor Rates section.
5. To add a Location option, click the Add button above the grid.
6. Navigate to the grid footer and enter the Location Code (ex. LA) and Description (ex. Los Angeles).
7. Click the Save button below the grid.
