Lead and project classifications

Lead and project classifications help group and filter leads and projects, especially for cross-project reporting. There's no limit on the number of classifications that you can create and each classification can support unlimited options.

Lead and project classifications examples

Lead source:

  • Referral
  • Dodge reports
  • Reed construction data

Structure type:

  • Custom home
  • Apartment
  • School
  • Medical facility
  • Retail unit

Company division:

  • South
  • Northwest
  • Midwest
  • Southwest

Labor type:

  • Union
  • Non-union

Create a classification

  1. Log in to Sage Construction Management as an Admin.

  2. Select Settings () > Feature Settings > Lead / Project.
  3. In the Lead & Project Classifications section, select Add.
  4. Enter the lead or project classification description in the available field.
  5. Select Save.

Add classification options

  1. Select the appropriate lead or project Classification Type.
  2. Select Add.
  3. Enter the option's description in the available field.
  4. To add more options, select Add Another Entry and enter a description.

    Repeat as needed to add additional options.

  5. Select Save.
You cannot delete a classification option if it's referenced in a lead or project.
