Payroll items
Payroll items are required to establish employee cost and billing rates. They are typically identical to those listed in the accounting system.
Examples of payroll items
- 1.0 ST: Straight Time
- 1.5 OT: Overtime
- 2.0 DT: Double Time
- JD: Jury Duty
- ST: Sick Time
- TT: Travel Time
- VT: Vacation Time
Add payroll items

Log in to Sage Construction Management as an Administrator.
- Select Settings (
) > Feature Settings > Time & Expenses. - In the Payroll Items section, select Add.
- Enter the Payroll Code and Description.
- Leave the Archive field deselected.
- Select Save.
You cannot delete a payroll item if it is referenced on an employee or labor or craft code record.
