Payroll Items

Payroll Items are required for establishing employee cost and billing rates and are typically identical to those listed in the accounting system.

Example Payroll Items

  • 1.0 ST: Straight Time
  • 1.5 OT: Overtime
  • 2.0 DT: Double Time
  • JD: Jury Duty
  • ST: Sick Time
  • TT: Travel Time
  • VT: Vacation Time

View And Add Payroll Items

  1. Log in to Sage Construction Management as an Admin.
  2. Click Settings (Gear Icon).
  3. Click Feature Settings | Time and Expenses.
  4. Navigate to the Payroll Items section.
  5. To add a Payroll Item, click the Add button above the grid.
  6. Navigate to the grid footer and enter the Payroll Code and Description.
  7. Leave Archive field unchecked.
  8. Click the Save button below the grid.

Note: A payroll item cannot be deleted if it is referenced on an employee or labor/craft code record.
