Add companies manually
Add a company record directly so you can manage company details, contacts, and bidding workflows within Contact Management.
- Go to Contact Management.
- In the Contact Management Insights section, select the actions menu icon (
) in the Companies row. - Select Add Manually.

Enter the company name in the Company field.
The company name must be unique. If you enter a duplicate company name, an error occurs when you save the record. -
Enter information in the remaining fields as needed.
In projects with the Specify Contacts for Project option selected, only companies with contacts are available in the project directory. -
In the Primary Contact section, select Is Bid Contact to use as a filter in the following cases:
- When you add company contacts to an invitation to bid list.
- When you add contacts to a request for proposal package.
- Select Save & Close.
You can add additional contacts after you save the record.
