Add companies manually

Add a company record directly so you can manage company details, contacts, and bidding workflows within Contact Management.

  1. Go to Contact Management.
  2. In the Contact Management Insights section, select the actions menu icon () in the Companies row.
  3. Select Add Manually.
  4. Enter the company name in the Company field.

    The company name must be unique. If you enter a duplicate company name, an error occurs when you save the record.
  5. Enter information in the remaining fields as needed.

    In projects with the Specify Contacts for Project option selected, only companies with contacts are available in the project directory.
  6. In the Primary Contact section, select Is Bid Contact to use as a filter in the following cases:

    • When you add company contacts to an invitation to bid list.
    • When you add contacts to a request for proposal package.
  7. Select Save & Close.

You can add additional contacts after you save the record.
