Use the response workflow for RFIs
You can use the response workflow for RFIs to send emails to the respondents either sequentially or simultaneously.

Go to Leads or Projects and select the lead or project in the Quick Select section.
- On the Lead or Project Home page, select RFIs under the Correspondence section.
- Select the RFI number to view the details.
- Select Edit.
- In the Response Workflow section, select Use Response Workflow?
- Specify the Workflow Type.
The following options are available:
- Sequential: A response request email alert is sent automatically to the next respondent after comments have been entered in the TeamLink Portal by the current respondent. If you select this workflow type, you must also select the Auto Notify Respondents option to notify the respondents automatically when responses are posted.
- Parallel: Email response requests are sent to all respondents simultaneously. You can select Auto Notify Respondents to automatically send an email to the remaining respondents and the coordinator when new responses are posted.
- Select Save & Close.
Next step: Send the RFI to the respondents.
After receiving all responses, edit the RFI header information to mark the RFI closed. This will ensure that only open items appear in the Correspondence Calendar and Alerts pages and will prevent response modifications through the TeamLink Portal.
