Edit a transmittal

Open the transmittal details

  1. Go to Leads or Projects and select the lead or project in the Quick Select section.
  2. On the Lead or Project Home page, select Submittals under the Correspondence section.
  3. On the transmittals listing page, select the transmittal number to view the details.

Edit the transmittal header information

  1. Select Edit.
  2. Enter of modify the information under the following sections as needed:
    • General Information
    • From
    • To
    • Message
    • References
    • Status
  3. Select Save or Save & Close.

Add or edit the transmittal items

  1. In the Transmittal Items section of the Transmittal Details page, you can do the following:
    1. To add a submittal item, select Add / Import Items > Add Manually and enter the required information.
    2. To edit the items:
      1. Select Edit List.
      2. Enter or modify the information in the fields as needed.
      3. Select Save.
    3. To delete and item, select Delete next to it.

Import drawings as transmittal items

  1. In the Transmittal Items section of the Transmittal Details page, select Add / Import Items > Import Drawing.
  2. Optionally, select the From and To dates, then select Filter to narrow the results by date.

  3. Optionally, enter text in the Search field to narrow the results.

  4. Select one or more drawings from the list.
  5. Select Add or Add & Close.

Import submittal items as transmittal items

  1. In the Transmittal Items section of the Transmittal Details page, select Add / Import Items > Import Submittal.

  2. Select the submittal from the dropdown.

  3. Optionally, enter text in the Search field to narrow the results.

  4. Select one or more submittal items from the list.
  5. Select Add or Add & Close.

Upload or link additional files

You can upload or link files, such as images or PDF documents, that are relevant to the transmittal record.

  • To upload files from your local drive, select one or more files from your drive and drag them to the Drag files here area within the Linked Files section.

    Alternatively, select Add to find and upload files from your local drive.

  • To link existing files that have already been uploaded to Sage Construction Management, do the following under the Linked Files section:
    1. Select Link Existing and select one of the following options:
      • Drawings & Specs
      • Photos
      • All other records
    2. Optionally, select the Feature Name to filter the results, if applicable.
    3. Select one or more files from the list.
    4. Select Link & Close.
