Add or edit project timecard rates in the cost database for labor items

Open the labor item details

  1. Go to Cost DB.
  2. In the Internal Cost Database Stats section, select the total count number in the Labor Items row.
  3. Optionally, use the Search field to filter the list.
  4. Select the labor code from the list.

Add project-specific timecard rates

This section applies only to firms using union labor or standard rates and entering timecards. Labor item cost and bill rates override employee rates on timecards.

  1. In the Project Specific Timecard Rates section, select Add Project Rate.
  2. Select the Payroll Item and Project.
  3. Optionally, select the Effective Date, which is the rate start date.
  4. Enter the Base Cost, Burden Cost, and Bill Rates as needed.
  5. Select Save & Close.

Edit project-specific timecard rates

  1. In the Project Specific Timecard Rates section, select Edit List.
  2. Update the rates as needed.
  3. Select Save.
