RSMeans City Cost Index (CCI)
RSMeans cost databases are published using national average pricing derived from data across more than 700 cities in the United States, Puerto Rico, and Canada. When adding RSMeans items to an estimate, you can use either national average pricing or localized pricing.
Localized pricing is calculated by applying a City Cost Index (CCI) factor based on the city, state, and postal code specified on the Estimate Properties Details page. The CCI factor represents the percentage difference between a specific city’s costs and the national average, ensuring regionally accurate pricing.
Cost in City A = (Index for City A / 100) * National Average Cost
Cost in Canadian City in $ CAN = (Index for Canadian City / 100) * National Average Cost
