Add or link files to an existing record

You can upload up to 10 files at once. The following files cannot be uploaded: 
  • Files with an .EXE extension.

  • Files that are larger than 500 MB.

  1. Go to Projects or Leads and select the lead or project from the list.
  2. Select one of the following features:
    • Drawings
    • Specifications
    • Project Directory or Lead Directory
    • Estimates
    • Prime Contracts
    • Allowance Packages
    • CPRs
    • COs
    • Prime Invoices
    • RFPs
    • POs
    • PO COs
    • Bills
    • Subcontracts
    • SCOs
    • Sub Invoices
    • Issues
    • Journals
    • RFIs
    • Submittals
    • Transmittal
    • Daily Logs
    • Meetings
    • Work Orders
    • Checklists
    • Comply Notices
    • Permits
    • Punchlist Items
    • Test / Inspections
    • Safety Incidents
    • Safety Meetings
    • Site Hazard Assessments
  3. Select a record from the list.
  4. In the Linked files section, do one of the following:
    • To upload files from your local drive, select one or more files from your drive and drag them to the Drag files here area within the Linked Files section.

      Alternatively, select Add to find and upload files from your local drive.

      Unsupported special characters in filenames are automatically replaced with underscores (_).
    • To link existing files that have already been uploaded to Sage Construction Management, do the following under the Linked Files section:
      1. Select Link Existing and select one of the following options:
        • Drawings & Specs to link drawing log and specification files.
        • Photos to link photos.
        • All other records to link files from any other record types.
          The dropdown in the dialog lists only features with existing linked files.
      2. Optionally, select the Feature Name to filter the results, if applicable.
      3. Select one or more files from the list.
      4. Select Link & Close.
      You can only link existing files that were uploaded to records within the same project or lead.
