Track Time Setting in Company Profile

'Track Time' is a checkbox within the Company Profile form that will determine if Labor Timecards can be entered for the company's contacts. This setting will also impact the Employees listing within the HR module since payroll rates will need to be setup for these contacts.

Although typically YOUR COMPANY will be the only company in the listing that has this field checked, there could be scenarios where subcontractor timecards need to be tracked. Below are the steps to update this field.

  1. Click 'Contact Management' icon on the left menu.
  2. Click the record count number shown to the right of Active Companies. This will refresh the page and show the active companies listing.
  3. Enter some text to filter the active companies list.
  4. Click on the Company record to review their profile.
  5. Click the pencil/edit icon next to the Company Profile heading.
  6. Scroll down to the 'Other Information' section and click the 'Track Time' checkbox.
  7. Click the 'Save' button.
