Reduce Number of Job Cost Codes on Labor Timecard Data Entry Forms

  1. Log in to Sage Construction Management as an Admin.
  2. Click Settings | Feature Settings | Time and Expenses.
  3. Check "Show Only Cost Codes with Labor Hour Budgets when entering Labor Timecards".
  4. Click the 'Save' button.
  5. Click 'Sage Construction Management Home' on the left side to return to the Main Menu.
  6. Click the 'Projects' icon on the left menu.
  7. Select the Project in the 'Quick Select' section. This will then refresh the page and show the 'Current Project Home' page.
  8. On the 'Quick Links' tab, click the 'Client Contract Administration' link under the 'Accounting and Project Management Departments' section. This will refresh the page and show the 'Contract Admin Module Landing Page'.
  9. Navigate to the 'Stats' section.
  10. Click the Total record count link for Prime Contracts.
  11. Click on the Prime Contract # to view the details.
  12. Scroll down to the 'Original Prime Contract Budgets' section.
  13. Click the 'Labor Hours' link. This will show cost codes and labor hour budgets in read only mode.
  14. Click the Pencil icon above the grid to enable changes.
  15. Navigate to a Job Cost Code that is applicable to Labor Timecards.
  16. Enter budget hours. If the budget is unknown, then enter one (1).
    Note: JCCs that need to appear on the form must have budgets greater than zero (0)!
  17. Repeat the last two steps for other Job Cost Codes that are applicable to Labor Timecards.
  18. Click the 'Save' button shown below the grid.
