Copy a bill
- Go to Projects and select the appropriate project in the Quick Select section.
- On the Project Home page, select Bills in the Procurement section.
- Select Actions > Copy Bill.
- Optionally, update the Project number as needed.
- Select the Prime Contract.
- Select the Supplier Company and the original Bill # from the dropdowns.
- Select Next.
- In the Bill Lines section, select one or more items.
- Optionally, for each selected item update the Description, Quantity, Units, Unit Price, Cost Code, Tax, or Resource as needed.If the selected project for the new bill does not have the specified cost codes, they’ll be created automatically.
- In the New Bill Information section, specify the following:
- Optionally, update the Project number as needed.
- Select the Prime Contract.
- Enter the vendor's Invoice #.
- Optionally, update the Issue Date.
The default value is today's date.
- Optionally, update the Subject.
The original bill’s subject is used by default.
Select the Bill Type.
- Optionally, select the payment Terms.
The payment Due Date is automatically populated based on the value selected in this field.
- Optionally, update the Due Date.
- Select the Approved checkbox if the bill has been approved.
If this option is not selected, the bill will remain in pending status.
- Optionally, select Link Related Bill Files.
- Select Finish.
