Add companies and contacts to the lead directory

Open the lead directory

  1. Go to Leads and select the appropriate lead in the Quick Select section.

  2. On the Lead Home page, select Lead Directory in the Lead Team section.

Add existing company to the lead directory

  1. Select Actions, and then select one of the following options:
    • Add Companies & Contacts to Directory from Contact Management
    • Add Companies & Contacts from Bidder List in Contact Management
    • Add Companies & Contacts using Company Types from Contact Management
  2. Optionally, use the Search field to filter the list.
  3. Select one or more companies and contacts from the list.

    A company or contact is not listed under the following conditions:

    • The company or contact is in the project directory.
    • The company or contact is marked as inactive.
    • The company or contact is not in the system.
  4. Select Add.

    The company and contact will be removed from the available list and will be added to the lead directory.

Add a new company to the lead directory

  1. Select Actions > Add New Company and Contact to Sage CM and Directory.
  2. Enter the Company name.
    The company name must be unique. If you enter a duplicate company name, an error occurs when saving the record.
  3. Optionally, enter the Company Code.
  4. In the Primary Contact section, enter the contact's information as needed and optionally select the Is Bid Contact checkbox to use as a filter in the following cases:

    • When you add company contacts to an invitation to bid list.

    • When you add contacts to a request for proposal package.

  5. Optionally, enter the Business Address, Phone, Fax information.
  6. Enter information in the remaining fields as needed.
  7. Select Save & Close.
