Add Comply Notice
Step 1 - General Information
- Click the 'Projects' icon on the left menu.
- Select the Project in the 'Quick Select' section. This will then refresh the page and show the 'Current Project Home' page.
- On the 'Quick Links' tab, click the 'Quality Control (QC) and Safety' link under the 'Project Management and Field Staff' section. This will refresh the page and show the 'QC and Safety Module Landing Page'.
- Navigate to the Comply Notice row in the 'QC Stats' section.
- Click the 'Actions' button on the far right.
- Click 'Add Manually' option from the drop-down menu.
- In the data entry form, the Project # should be selected already but can be changed.
- The Issue Date and Comply Notice # are auto-generated but can be modified.
- Optional: Select the Comply Notice Type.
- Enter the Subject.
- Optional: Select the Response Due Date. This will appear on the QC and Safety Module's Calendar and Home View's Alerts listing.
- Select the Fom the Subject.
- Select the From and To Company and Contact. The To Firm would be the contractor that needs to comply!
Required Fields:- Company
- Address Type
- Contact
- Enter the Comply Notice Description.
- Optional: Enter any References.
- Click the 'Next' button in the form footer.
Step 2 - Optional - Upload Related Files
Files such as images or PDFs that pertain to the Comply Notice can be uploaded and linked to the record. If files will not be added or uploaded at this time, please use the 'Skip and Finish' button shown in the footer.
Upload Files from Local Hard Drive:
- Select one or more files on your local hard drive and drag them to the 'Drag files here' section or use the 'Select Local Files' button shown on the right.
- Click the 'Add and Finish' button.
Link Existing Files that have already been uploaded to the system:
- Click the 'Link Existing Files' button on the right.
- Select the View
- Current Project / Feature
- Current Project Drawings and Specifications
- Select the Feature
- Select one or more files listed in the grid using the checkbox on the left.
- Click the 'Link and Close' button below the grid. These files will be added automatically to the record and will not be shown in the Drag Local Files section.
- Click the 'Skip and Finish' button below the grid.
