Edit or close a punchlist item

Edit or close individual punchlist items

  1. Go to Projects and select the appropriate project in the Quick Select section.
  2. On the Project Home page, select Punchlist Items in the QC and Safety section.
  3. Optionally, use the Search field to filter the items.
  4. Select the Punchlist Item # from the list.
  5. On the Punchlist Items Details page, select Edit.
  6. Update one or more of the following fields, as needed:
    • Prime Contract #
    • Punchlist #
    • Inspection Date
    • Location
    • Responsible Company
    • Responsible Contact
    • Due Date
    • Description
  7. Optionally, to close the punchlist item, select the Closed checkbox in the Status section and set the Completion Date.

    By default, the completion date is automatically set to the current date.

  8. Select Save or Save & Close.

Edit or close multiple punchlist items at once

  1. Go to Projects and select the appropriate project in the Quick Select section.
  2. On the Project Home page, select Punchlist Items in the QC and Safety section.
  3. Optionally, use the Search field to filter the items.
  4. Select one or more punchlist items from the list.
  5. Select Choose Bulk Action.
  6. In the dialog, select one or more of the following options:
    • Select Responsible Company and Contact and select the appropriate company and contact.
    • Select Inspection and select the date from the dropdown.
    • Select Location and enter the location.
    • Select Due Date and select a date.
    • Select Completion Date and select a date.
    • Select Delete to delete the selected items.
  7. Use Select to confirm your action.
