Add or update a personal injury in a safety incident

Open the safety incident details

  1. Go to Projects and select the appropriate project in the Quick Select section.
  2. On the Project Home page, select Safety Incidents in the QC and Safety section.
  3. Optionally, use the Search field to filter the list.
  4. Select the incident date from the list.

Add a personal injury

  1. In the Personal Injuries section, select Add / Import Items.
  2. Select one of the following options:
    • To add a personal injury manually, select Add Manually and enter the following information:
      1. In the Person Injured section, enter the individual’s First and Last Name, then complete any additional fields as needed.
      2. Optionally, in the Employer section, enter the employer's information as needed.
      3. Optionally, in the Home Address section, enter the individual's home address as needed.
      4. In the Injury Information section, select the Severity level, enter the Injury Description, and optionally enter the Work Activity.
      5. Optionally, in the Impact section, enter the Estimated Medical, Actual Medical, Loss Work Days, and Restricted Work Days.
    • To import a person from the project directory, select Add Injured person from Project Directory and do the following:
      1. Optionally, use the Search field to filter the list.
      2. Select one or more contacts from the list.
  3. Select Add & Close.

Edit a personal injury

  1. In the Personal Injuries section, select the person's name.
  2. Select Edit.
  3. Update any of the available fields as needed.
  4. Select Save & Close.

Update multiple personal injuries

  1. In the Personal Injuries section, select Edit List.
  2. Update any for the following information for each injury as needed:
    • First name
    • Middle name
    • Last name
    • Company
    • Gender
    • Age
    • Severity
    • Actual medical impact
    • Working days lost
    • Working days restricted
  3. Select Save.
