View the schedules for multiple projects in Gantt view

  • The schedule view for multiple projects includes the following tabs:

    • Gantt: Displays each project’s schedule as a horizontal bar along a time axis. For example, five projects will appear as five distinct horizontal bars, each representing the timeline of a project.

    • Resource: Presents a resource-centric view, listing resources, such as company contacts and equipment, on the left. Corresponding scheduled tasks are shown as horizontal bars aligned with each resource, providing a clear view of task assignments over time.

    • Calendar: Shows all scheduled tasks in a monthly calendar format. Each task is color-coded or labeled by status: Not Started, In Progress, or Completed, offering a quick visual summary of task progress.

  • Each schedule has two sets of dates, baseline and scheduled. The Scheduled dates are used by default in both the Gantt view and the task calendar.

  • Use the Choose Bulk Actions option to perform the following operations:

    • Copy Schedule Dates to Prime Contract Estimated Dates

    • Copy Schedule Dates to Prime Contract Actual Dates

View the schedules for multiple projects

  1. Go to Projects and select the appropriate project in the Quick Select section.
  2. On the Project Home page, select Schedules in the Scheduling section.
  3. In the Multi-Project Views section, select Active Projects - Schedules (Gantt Chart, Resources).

    The table displays all active projects that include a defined schedule. For each project, the following date references are provided:

    • Sch. Start and End: Indicate the start and end dates of the schedule, based on the earliest and latest tasks within the project timeline.

    • Prime Est. Start and End: The estimated start and end dates as defined in the associated prime contract. These fields are displayed only if the schedule references a prime contract.

    • Prime Act. Start and End: The actual start and end dates defined in the prime contract.
