Project estimate posting update
The background processing option is no longer available when posting a project estimate to Sage Intacct to eliminate incomplete postings.
Details
When submitting a project estimate to Sage Intacct, the Yes, Process in background option has been removed from the posting wizard.
Previously, selecting to process in background closed the wizard immediately and skipped the prompt to post the prime contract, leaving the project in Partially Posted status. Users were unaware that they needed to return and complete the prime contract posting, resulting in incomplete postings.
Users now remain in the wizard and post the prime contract as intended ensuring that projects get fully posted and eliminating the need to follow up. Posting may take slightly longer, but guarantees completeness.
How it works
- Select Batch Posting in the AccountingLink for Sage Intacct.
- Select Post next to the item you need to post and then select Post / Update.
