Enhancements to submittals

Sage Construction Management now automatically adds a status date when you update a submittal item's status without setting one. In addition, when using the parallel workflow with auto-notify enabled, emails are now sent to the remaining respondents and the coordinator when a response is submitted.

Details

Specifically:

  • When you update a submittal item's status without setting the status date, Sage Construction Management automatically adds the date that the status was updated.

  • When using the response workflow for submittals with the Parallel workflow type, email notifications are sent to remaining respondents and the coordinator when new responses are posted. This only occurs if the Auto Notify Respondents option is selected.

How it works

  1. Go to Projects or Leads and open an existing project or lead.

  2. On the Project Home page, select Submittals in the Correspondence section.

  3. Select the submittal from the list.

  4. In the Submittal Items section, select Edit List, update the Status without specifying the Status Date, and select Save.

    The date that the status is updated displays under the Status Date column for the item.
