Example Authentication Method 1 Process using Invitation To Bid (ITB)
- Add Drawings and Specs to Project Lead.
- Link Drawings and Specs to ITB.
- Add Subcontractor to ITB Directory.
- Send ITB Email to Subcontractor.
- Subcontractor receives the email which includes an auto-generated hyperlink to the TeamLink portal. The hyperlink is encoded to view only that particular ITB.
- The Subcontractor clicks on the hyperlink within the email.
- The Subcontractor reviews Drawings and Specs then responds whether they are interested in bidding or not. In addition, Sage Construction Management will send an email alert notifying the GC that the Subcontractor responded in the portal.
- Back within Sage Construction Management, the GC then reviews the ITB response.
Do Project Leads appear in the portal if Authentication Method 2 is being used by the subcontractor or supplier?
Yes. Project Leads will appear in the TeamLink Portal under the Bid Opportunities section but only if the following criteria are met.
- Project Lead property 'Show In Portal' is checked.
- Subcontractor or Supplier is referenced in the ITB Directory, Estimate RFP Package or Journal.
