Review estimating concepts, learn how to create estimates, and understand when to prepare RFP packages to support accurate pricing and subcontractor collaboration.

The estimating feature is almost a stand-alone product. Review all estimating videos to understand the basics of adding cost code sections, line items, and global markups. It may also be beneficial to create your first estimate for a specific lead or project using the Excel import option, which creates cost codes and line items. Global markups and RFP packages cannot be imported from Microsoft Excel.

Preparing RFP packages is only required when pricing for certain line items is uncertain or unknown, such as when subcontractors provide materials or services. One training video is dedicated to this estimating subfeature.
