Add major equipment to a daily log

Major equipment, such as bobcats and cranes, is recorded daily. The company reference identifies the firm that owns or has rented the equipment.

Open the daily log details

  1. Go to Projects and select the appropriate project in the Quick Select section.
  2. On the Project Home page, select Daily Logs in the Documentation section.
  3. On the Daily Logs page, select the appropriate date from the list.

Add major equipment manually

  1. In the Major Equipment (All Trades - Owned or Rented) section, select Add / Import Items > Add Manually.
  2. Select the Company from the dropdown.

    Typically, this is either your firm or a subcontractor.

  3. Enter the Equipment Description.

    For example, Bobcat, Backhoe, or Dump Truck.

  4. Enter the equipment Quantity.
  5. Enter the average run time hours per equipment in the RT Hours field.

    The Total RT Hours equal the quantity multiplied by the run time hours.

  6. Select Add & Close.

Import major equipment

  1. In the Major Equipment (All Trades - Owned or Rented) section, select Add / Import Items.
