Equipment items overview
You can enter owned or rented equipment items as estimate line items and track time for project costing. Various rates can be defined for each item, as shown below.

Before you begin
- Optionally, specify equipment types in Settings (
) > Feature Settings > Cost DB / Equipment for grouping or filtering equipment items. - Optionally, specify classification codes in Settings (
) > Company Settings > Cost Codes for grouping or filtering equipment items. - Optionally, specify locations in Settings (
) > Feature Settings > Cost DB / Equipment to create separate estimating rates based on geographic areas. This is particularly beneficial for contractors operating in multiple cities or counties.
