Email overview
Sage Construction Management includes built-in email functionality that enables users to send correspondence directly from the platform.
Review the following items to make sure that your email is set up correctly:
Email functions
Outbound emails
Project-related emails that Sage Construction Management generates and sends to external team members include a hyperlink and a security code. The recipient can use the link and code to access the TeamLink Portal and reply to the email.
When you send an email to a team member, you can include attachments. The total size of your attachments must be less than 10MB.
Inbound emails
When an external team member replies to an email through the TeamLink portal using the link in the email, the response is automatically recorded.
However, the recipient might reply by email instead of using the portal. In this case, the inbound email address is used instead of the originator's standard business address so that the response is routed back to Sage Construction Management.
Emails that are sent to a Sage Construction Management address will appear in the Email module. The Sage Construction Management user can then link the email to the original project record, such as the journal, RFI, submittal, and so on.
