Update crews and components in an estimate
Crews are combinations of labor and equipment and function similarly to work assemblies. They use variables to calculate component quantities automatically.
Similar to work assemblies, when crews are added to an estimate, each one includes a dedicated details form that lists its variables, components, and pricing summary.
-
Crew components, such as labor and equipment items, appear in the estimate Items tab. The crew header description does not.
-
Sage Construction Management generates crew variables and formulas automatically when the crew is added to an estimate.
-
Quantity fields for both the crew header and its components are not enabled, as quantities are calculated using the crew’s variables.
-
Crew pricing is calculated as the total sum of the labor and equipment components.
- Go to Leads or Projects and select the lead or project in the Quick Select section.
