Delete a bookmark in Microsoft Word

Before you begin

Ensure that the Show bookmarks option is selected in Microsoft Word.

Delete a bookmark

  1. Open the template in Microsoft Word.
    To download custom detail report templates, go to Settings > Reports and Templates > Detail Report Templates.

  2. Place the cursor to the right of the bookmark that you want to delete.

  3. Select Insert > Bookmarks.

    In the popup, the name of the appropriate bookmark displays in the Bookmark name field.

  4. Select Delete > Close.

  5. Save the document as a *.doc or *.dot file.

Next step: To upload the updated template, go to Settings > Templates & Reports > Detail Report Templates > Upload, select the appropriate Feature from the dropdown, and upload the file.
