Specify rented or owned equipment items when importing from excel

When importing equipment items from Excel, you can now specify whether an item is rented or owned by setting the RentedEquipment column to yes or no.

How it works

1. Prepare the Excel file and make sure to include the new RentedEquipment column header.

2. For each equipment item in the sheet, under the RentedEquipment column do the following:

   • If the item is rented, enter yes or leave the cell empty.

   • If the item is owned, enter no.

   

3. Save the file in Excel 97-2003 format (*.xls).

4. In Sage Construction Management, go to Equipment and select the three-dot menu icon () in the Equipment Items row.

5. Select Import From Excel and import your file.
