Enhanced drawing revision and burst drawing management

Drawing revision workflows have been improved to ensure drawing metadata, versioning, file associations, revision history, and burst generated drawings are managed and displayed consistently throughout Sage Construction Management.

• Improved handling of drawing metadata to ensure drawing numbers, titles, release dates, file names, version numbers, and parent-child relationships are maintained correctly throughout the drawing lifecycle.

• Drawing revisions now consistently inherit the appropriate drawing number and title information from the original drawing record.

• Drawing revisions are now assigned the correct version number and are linked to the correct parent drawing record.

• Improved drawing revision processing to generate and display revision-specific drawing numbers, making revised drawings easier to identify and track.

• Improved drawing revision processing to preserve original drawing information while allowing revision specific updates, such as release dates and version information.

• Drawing revisions now display the correct file names. Drawing records and associated attachments now remain synchronized throughout the revision process.

• Enhanced revision tracking to maintain clear relationships between original drawings and subsequent revisions while preserving complete revision history.

• Improved synchronization between drawing records and linked files to ensure consistent display of drawing details and attachments.

• Fixed issues affecting the display of drawing metadata, linked file names, and version information on the Drawing Detail page.

• Improved Drawing Detail pages to accurately display revision-specific information, including drawing numbers, titles, versions, linked files, and revision history.

• Improved consistency across the Drawings list, Revision History, and Drawing Detail pages to ensure drawing information is displayed accurately.

• Enhanced revision history to correctly display original drawings, revisions, burst generated drawing pages, and revisions of burst generated drawing pages.

• Improved burst drawing processing to generate unique drawing records for individual pages while maintaining traceability to the originating drawing.

• Improved drawing numbering for revisions and burst generated drawings by automatically assigning unique drawing identifiers while preserving relationships to the original drawing record.

• Enhanced drawing hierarchy management to ensure original drawings, revisions, burst generated drawings and related revisions are grouped and displayed correctly throughout the application.

How it works

1. Go to Leads or Projects and select a lead or project from the list.
2. On the Lead or Project Home page, select Drawings in the Lead or Project menu or favorites.
3. Select Actions > Add Manually.
4. Select a drawing set.
5. Drag and drop files as needed and select Next.
6. If the file is a multi‑page PDF, select Burst to create a separate drawing record for each page.
