Configure multi-factor authentication (MFA)
Multi-factor authentication (MFA) adds an extra layer of security to your Sage Construction Management account. It requires both your password and a verification code that is sent to your account email when logging in.
MFA helps safeguard your data against unauthorized access, even if your password is compromissed.
Set up MFA for your company (for administrators)
- Log in to Sage Construction Management.

Go to Settings > Company Settings > Security.

In the Sage CM - Multi-Factor authentication (MFA) section, select the Enable MFA For Sage CM application checkbox.

Optionally, select the Start Date for Sage CM Users that MFA will be enforced.

Select Save.
Set up MFA for your individual account
- Log in to Sage Construction Management.

Go to Settings.

On the Settings Overview page, select Edit.

On the User Details page, go to the Login with external provider (SSO or MFA) section and do the following:

Select the Do you wish to use SSO or MFA? checkbox.

Select the Multi-factor Authentication using Email checkbox.

Select Validate multi-factor authentication for Email.
Sage Construction Management sends an one-time password to your email.

In the dialog, enter the one-time password to the available field and select Verify Email.
