Implementation plan – Estimating – Invitation to bid (optional)
Use this implementation plan to review drawings and specifications and send an invitation to bid so vendors can indicate interest in an opportunity.
The invitation to bid (ITB) feature distributes drawings and specifications to subcontractors and suppliers to gauge interest in an opportunity. This feature is commonly used by commercial general contractors and can also apply to high end custom home builders.
The ITB email that Sage Construction Management sends allows vendors to access the TeamLink portal and respond whether they are bidding or not bidding. Vendors do not provide detailed price quotes at this stage.
