Projects overview
Projects can represent a single structure, multiple structures, or phased work. When multiple structures or phases are involved, the project typically has multiple prime contracts to track financials separately.
Projects in Sage Construction Management are typically awarded work, while leads are used to track potential opportunities. One key difference is that projects can access all features in Sage Construction Management, whereas leads are limited to drawings, specs, estimating, and correspondence.
Project examples
- Single structure:
- Office building.
- Home.
- Multiple structures:
- Building or parking structure.
- Lot 1/Lot 2/Lot 3.
- Phased work:
- Design phase and construction phase
About projects

- Only awarded leads must be converted to projects using the Lead to Project Wizard.
