Project directory overview
The project directory is a list of companies from the Contact Management module that are involved on a project. A directory saves time by offering a concise list of companies and contacts within the project's forms, rather than having hundreds or thousands of options.
Both leads and projects have a project directory, which is independent of one another. However, the directory from the leads will be copied to the projects when using the Lead to Project Wizard.
Typical companies added to the project directory
- Customer
- Your firm
- Architect
- Engineering/consulting firms
- Construction manager
- Subcontractors
- Suppliers
Before you create the project directory
- Make sure all companies involved on the job are in the Contact Management module.
- Each company must have at least one contact with an email address.
