Daily log overview
Builders and contractors must actively manage risk, and one of the most effective tools for superintendents and project managers is the consistent use of daily logs.
This becomes especially critical if a dispute arises. Documenting daily activities, progress milestones, workforce, major deliveries, equipment usage, and weather or site conditions provides valuable project insight. Because daily logs might be reviewed during claims or legal proceedings by opposing parties, it’s vital that all information is recorded accurately.
- Ensure that your firm and subcontractors on the job are listed in the project directory. These companies will be referenced in the daily log record's Workforce and Major Equipment sections.
- Review the activity types in Settings (
) > Feature Settings > Documentation.
