Labor Items Overview
Architect, Engineering and Construction firms often use the term Labor Codes or Staff Types to identify the various occupations that are required on a project. These codes can be imported into an estimate and used for setting payroll rates for timecards. The latter should only be implemented when rates are standardized such as for union or prevailing wage jobs. In this scenario, the Labor Item's Payroll Rate will over-ride any rate specified in the employee profile form.
